5 TIPS TO STAYING SUCCESSFUL

An article by Alex Inez

We all could use a little help even me on staying focused and productive towards our goals in life, even me. So I’m no expert but here are some of my best tips on staying on track!

1. Use a calendar

Using a Calendar helps me feel like I can see what’s ahead, and I can therefore be prepared for it. Also, the color blocks allow me to separate tasks in my mind while still being focused on todays goals. I use google calendar (not sponsored) but I also would suggest regular paper planners or a desk calendar that you can write on and refer back to.

2. Be resourceful with a timer

⏲️

I enjoy using a timer when I’m multitasking in the house. I can be sometimes very forgetful when I’m cooking am doing too much at once. Timers can remind you something is in the oven, that you have somewhere to be, your afternoon cat nap is over and so much more.

3. Food and Water fuel the brain

DO NOT USE FOOD AND WATER AS A REWARD SYSTEM! Lol, something’s just need to be said.. please feed your body and hydrate your body everyday before getting your day started, during the day(lunch) and dinner! It’s so important for your body to be fueled with the right nutrients so that you can be feeling your best self and bringing your all to the table.

I myself have dealt with a lot of shame towards eating habits and binge eating or not eating enough but we all know nothing is better than a good nutritious meal. I will hopefully be having some great recipes on here soon.

4. Do the hard stuff first

🦾

You are stronger than you know. You are capable. Each day you allow yourself to prove to yourself that you are capable of handling tough things, the better you will become at it. Do not give up! Love ya!

5. Don’t stress

🌳

Stress is the number one cause of most life threatening diseases. (Don’t fact check me) So, those of you that know me outside of the Internet, know that I care a lot about mental health and about checking up on your friends and talking about your problems. I think everyone needs outlets to express themselves and a community of people to love. Whenever you are feeling overwhelmed with work, school or interpersonal relationships, my suggestion is always to just put your phone down for a few minutes and breathe. It’s not going anywhere. Calmly make a plan for the tasks you have and how you can achieve them. Play some calming music and try to relaxxxxxxxxx<3 we’re all doing our best. And you are appreciated and loved.

Until next time, ai <3
