I recently just worked with an awesome black owned business, WisdomATL, owner named Latif on some content for his newest sunglasses collections. He was super fun, kind and professional. We laughed as we tried out fun poses, concepts and characters in the new shades.

As I embark on this new year, I have been working on opening my trust to the universe. Allowing myself to be there for myself and show up for myself in ways I know I’ll appreciate in the future. This past week I spent time applying for summer internships and roles that I dreamed of working in. It’s teaching me how to be more like the girl I aspire to be! A risk taker, who perseveres, doesn’t quit easily and proves people wrong. So I’ve decided in that I’ll need to start taking myself more seriously as a seriously creative professional!

I hope that through staying consistent with my own goals and priorities, I can inspire someone else to take themselves more seriously as well and get more out of life.
